As the top model of this series, the New Captain’s Line Regulator stands out with its unique way of displaying time. With the Regulator, ZEPPELIN revives a long-standing tradition of watchmaking, reinterpreting it in the brand’s innovative style and completing the New Captain’s Line at the high end of the range. ZEPPELIN equips the flagship model of this collection with a newly developed, high-quality SWISS-MADE automatic caliber from Sellita.

For customers who find the single-hand time display a bit too minimalistic, ZEPPELIN offers additional models within the New Captain’s Line featuring traditional analog displays. In addition to the single-hand watch, customers can choose between a classically designed three-hand model or more avant-garde styled four-hand versions. The four-hand models stand out with their asymmetrical arrangement of two additional functions: a small seconds sub-dial at 5 o’clock and a 24-hour indicator at 9 o’clock. For those seeking an even more extravagant look, ZEPPELIN also offers the four-hand model in an Open Heart version. Here, the dial is partially cut out in the area of the escapement mechanism, revealing a view of the steadily oscillating balance wheel.

All models share a finely crafted and precisely readable dial featuring Arabic numerals for the hour indication and slender lancette hands that ensure accurate time reading while giving the watch its unmistakable New Captain’s Line style. When it comes to dial colors, ZEPPELIN offers options to suit every taste: classic black or anthracite, a deep distinguished blue, the evergreen silver, and even warm velvet beige.

Traveling in one of these impressive airships of bygone days was an experience of tranquility and deceleration for the wealthy passengers. They were carried to distant destinations in a calm and almost silent manner, surrounded by a comfortable and luxurious ambiance. It wasn’t about arriving to the minute, but rather about embracing a relaxed and leisurely style of travel.

Unfortunately this sense of relaxation all too often gets lost in today’s fast paced world. This is where the new MONOTIMER from ZEPPELIN makes a statement. At first glance the clearly designed dial immediately reveals a focus on the essentials. A single slender hour hand extending all the way to the dial’s markings displays the time. No additional minute or second hands interfere with the immediate readability. This allows the new MONOTIMER by ZEPPELIN to promote a deliberately relaxed approach to the precious resource of time. The MONOTIMER is also a clear expression of its wearer’s mindset and personality. The hours are marked by precisely drawn Arabic numerals. Additional tick marks indicate half and quarter hours with smaller divisions representing five minute increments. This makes it easy to read the time accurately to within five minutes which is perfectly sufficient for everyday orientation.

In addition to the men’s model with the classic case diameter of 41 mm, the new ZEPPELIN MONOTIMER is also available in a women’s version with a 36 mm case and a distinctive crown positioned at 4 o’clock.
